Harry Kane scored yet another England goal this evening, tucking one home into the bottom left-hand corner from the penalty spot against Switzerland.
While the match was only a friendly, Kane will not mind one bit as his latest tally takes him to 49 goals for his country. This is a significant milestone as it takes him level with Sir Bobby Charlton in the all-time scoring charts, second on the list (TransferMarkt).
It was a rather quiet evening for Kane in truth, however, Harry is now just four goals behind Wayne Rooney’s record of 53 goals for the Three Lions.

Spurs Web Opinion:
It seems inevitable that this will be another record Kane ticks off by the end of the year, and in a significantly lower appearance tally than Rooney. Yet another hugely impressive achievement for the Tottenham striker.
