Tottenham Hotspur headed into the half time break against Arsenal currently level at 1-1 after a tense forty five minutes of action at the Emirates.
The home side took the game to Antonio Conte’s men in the opening periods and broke the deadlock after Thomas Partey was afforded too much time on the edge of Hugo Lloris’ penalty area to curl the ball into the top corner of the Frenchman’s net.
Spurs were given a route back into the match when Gabriel hacked down Richarlison inside the penalty area with Anthony Taylor wasting no time in pointing to the spot.
Harry Kane showed nerves of steel after a lengthy delay to cooly chip the ball down the middle beyond his England team-mate Aaron Ramsdale.
