Tottenham Hotspur have drawn level against Southampton after 40 minutes of action at St Mary’s.
The goal came courtesy of a Harry Kane penalty with the Spurs marksman firing his effort high into the top left corner to send Fraser Forster the wrong way.
Antonio Conte’s side had the opportunity to level after a lovely ball from Harry Winks found Heung-min Son and the South Korean was brought down in the penalty area by Mohammed Salisu, who received his second booking of the game.
Tottenham have been far from impressive in the opening 40 minutes and will be hoping to make the most of their one-man advantage.
