The Tottenham Hotspur forward picked up the ball 35 yards out from goal and fired a powerful right-footed, dipping effort into the bottom corner of the net.
Spurs fans will certainly be hoping that the 28-year-old can open his Premier League tally for the season on Saturday when Spurs travel to Selhurst Park for the lunchtime kick-off against Crystal Palace.
