Video: Harry Kane shows his hamstring issues are behind him with shooting drill

There are not many better sights for Tottenham Hotspur fans than seeing Harry Kane putting the ball in the back of the net.

The Spurs striker was back on the training pitch at Hotspur Way this week where he underwent a series of shooting drills and was pitted against Hugo Lloris between the sticks.

Kane came up with a scoring challenge against the Frenchman based on whether he scored, missed or if his effort was saved.

The 26-year-old has not featured in a competitive match since tearing his hamstring in the New Year’s Day defeat at Southampton.

Fans will be encouraged to see the striker was moving freely and striking the ball with accuracy and power which is welcome news ahead of the potential restart of the Premier League campaign.

Spurs find themselves down in eighth place in the table and are seven points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea who occupy the final Champions League qualification spot.

Kane has already revealed that he is fit and ready to return to action (Sky Sports).
