There was a welcome sight during Tottenham Hotspur’s training session this morning.
As part of UEFA’s protocol, members of the media are invited to watch a portion of the session ahead of a Champions League fixture.
While many of the cameras were focused on Jose Mourinho’s main group being put through their preparations for the second leg against RB Leipzig, one player caught the eye who was taking part in his own session.
Star striker Harry Kane, who suffered a hamstring injury during the New Year’s Day defeat at Southampton was captured on camera coming out to work on his own with the ball in a series of short passing drills.
The Evening Standard’s Jack Rosser captured the moment Kane was about to start his session.

Opinion
It is great to see Kane back on the training field as part of his rehabilitation from hamstring surgery, however, given the severity of the injury we need to be patient with his return.
