Harry Kane has not played a competitive match for almost six months since injuring his hamstring on New Year’s Day at Southampton.
It was initially feared that the striker would be out of action for the vast remainder of the season (Bleacher Report) only for the suspension of the Premier League to allow him the time he needed to complete his rehabilitation.
The England captain has admitted in an interview to Spurs TV two weeks ago that he is fit and raring to go for the restart of the top-flight campaign.
Toby Alderweireld admitted recently that the England captain is on fire in training and that fans will get to see the ‘old Kane’ back when the season resumes (Guardian).
The 26-year-old has now taken to social media to post a video documenting his return to fitness.
The video is sure to leave Spurs fans salivating at the prospect of seeing a fully fit Kane leading the line for the Lilywhites once again.

It has been a long and hardworking road to recovery but it will feel so good to be back out there playing on Friday for a number of reasons. ?⚽️ pic.twitter.com/Y2SyVURKiu

It certainly appears as if Kane is keen to get back on to the pitch and make up for the lost time. There is a case to be made that the extended lay off might have done him good as the striker has played a lot of football for club and country over the last five years. Let’s hope that we indeed see the old Kane again when the season resumes.
