Video: Harry Redknapp makes confident claim regarding Pochettino and Man Utd

Harry Redknapp has confidently asserted that Mauricio Pochettino will not turn down the Manchester United job if it was offered to him right now.

Pochettino, who remains a fan favourite among the Tottenham faithful, is reportedly Man Utd’s number one target to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Some sources have alleged the Argentine would be interested in swapping Paris Saint-Germain for United mid-season.

Former Spurs striker Robbie Keane questioned why the 49-year-old would leave Paris for United, given the calibre of players he is currently working with at the Ligue 1 giants.

However, Keane’s former boss Redknapp, is confident that Pochettino wants to return to England and would jump at the chance of moving to Old Trafford.

Spurs Web Opinion

I agree with Redknapp more than I do with Keane. As attractive as it might be to manage big names like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe, I believe Pochettino has had his eye on the United job for a long time.

The big question is whether he would be open to jumping ship straight away or decide to wait until the summer, by which time he would have a Ligue 1 title under his belt.
