Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has shared his opinion on Harry Kane’s future in North London.
Reports surfaced over the weekend that Spurs would be willing to allow their star striker to join Manchester United if a world record £200million transfer fee was agreed (Daily Mail).
Sky Sports later squashed the speculation by claiming that the Champions League finalists have no intention of allowing Kane to move to Old Trafford or any other Premier League rival.
Redknapp admits that he is not concerned about the prospect of life without Kane at Tottenham and suggested that head coach Jose Mourinho may believe he can build a team out of a £200million fee.
While admitting that the 26-year-old would be a brilliant signing for United, he believes that he will remain at Tottenham.
? “Jose may think if he can get £200m for Kane he can build a team.”
? “Of his type I don’t think there’s a better centre-forward anywhere.”
? “He’d be a great fit for #MUFC but he’d be a great fit for any team.”
