Harry Redknapp has backed Tottenham Hotspur’s decision not to sign any new players in the last two transfer windows.
Spurs became the first club in Premier League history not to recruit any fresh faces since the inception of the window and followed it up last month with no new arrivals.
Redknapp believes that the current squad is capable of winning the title and revealed that he knew “for a fact” that Mauricio Pochettino did not want to recruit in January.
The former Spurs boss believes that such is the quality of the current side, it is difficult to try and improve the current team.
