Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks has said in an interview with the club that he was left impressed with the discipline, defensive structure, and resilience that the team displayed in the win over Southampton.
The midfielder was one of the best performers for Spurs yesterday afternoon with his typical box to box display.
Tottenham had to play over an hour with just ten men after Serge Aurier’s first-half red card and admitted that the players found it difficult.
The 23-year-old also talked about how crucial Harry Kane’s goal was just before the half time interval as it gave the team something to hold onto ahead of the second period.

"We had to graft and really dig in. I thought the discipline, defensive structure and resilience was excellent today."

Spurs Web Opinion
Harry Winks is fast maturing into one of the most consistent midfield players in the Premier League. He is never one to hide during games and always seems to enjoy taking responsibility. The fact that he is Tottenham born and bred means that he understands what it means to play for the club. We are extremely lucky to have produced a player like him.
