
Harry Winks would have been happy enough seeing his name back on the starting sheet last night in the Europa League after a short injury spell.
However, the Spurs academy graduate was sent to dreamland when he scored an outrageous goal in the second half against Ludogorets.
After a throw-in was swiftly taken on the left-side, almost 60 yards out from goal, Winks appeared to look up for the run of Gareth Bale before letting fire. The ball, surprisingly, ended up nestling in the top corner of the net, sailing over the keeper’s head.
In a post-match interview, Winks revealed whether he meant it:
