Harry Winks has had his fair share of injuries over the past year which has kept him sidelined for both club and country.
The Spurs midfielder went under the knife in May, shortly after signing a new contract until 2023, to fix a persistent ankle injury.
Winks played the second half of Tottenham’s 2-0 win at Huddersfield in the Premier League yesterday, replacing Jan Vertonghen who suffered a hamstring strain.
It took less than ten minutes for the England international to show his class with a beautiful drop of the shoulder and change of direction which left three Huddersfield players wrongfooted before turning into space and playing a pass into Lucas Moura.

With concerns over the fitness of Mousa Dembele ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Barcelona, it could be time for Winks to step up and put in another performance just like he did away to Real Madrid last season.
