Peter Crouch has raised question marks over Harry Kane’s future at Tottenham Hotspur after they crashed out of the Europa League.
Crouch claimed that a player of Kane’s quality should not be playing in the Europa League and should be instead turning out in the Champions League.
Failure to beat Dinamo Zagreb means that Tottenham’s only chance of qualifying for European football’s most prestigious club competition rests on their slim chances of making it into the top four.
The 27-year-old striker has remained loyal to Spurs since he broke into the first team on the back of a number of loan spells at lower league clubs with Crouch suggesting if the likes of Kane could now be weighing up their future at the club.
