The second goal saw Harry Kane interlinking with Dejan Kulusevski and the Swede threaded the ball through for Heung-min Son to bury his shot underneath Jordan Pickford.
The Toffees goalkeeper certainly will not want to see that one again, when replays showed that he should have comfortably dealt with the South Korean’s effort.
Spurs were slow out of the block with Everton having the best opportunities in the opening minutes but have since settled into the match.
