Tottenham Hotspur have taken the lead against Manchester United after 39 minutes of action in North London.

The goal came after a neat ball from Tanguy Ndombele found Harry Kane who threaded the ball through to Lucas Moura, the Brazilian unselfishly fed the ball back across goal for Heung-min Son to bury low into the bottom corner of the net.

United had thought that they had taken the lead just moments earlier when Edinson Cavani scored, however the ball was chalked off by VAR after Scott McTominay’s hand had made contact with Son’s face.

Spurs lead in a crucial match for their top four hopes.
