Video: Heung-min Son fires Spurs ahead against MK Dons

Tottenham Hotspur have finally broken the deadlock against MK Dons after 35 minutes of action in this evening’s pre-season friendly.

The goal came when Lucas Moura cut in from the right-hand side of the pitch to slide a superbly weighted ball into the path of Heung-min Son, who had made a clever run in behind the defence and chipped the ball beyond the goalkeeper.

The South Korean earlier had a goal disallowed for a narrow offside decision when he was put through on goal by the returning Dele Alli.

Tottenham could have found themselves behind early on in the match after Alfie Whiteman conceded a penalty, but redeemed himself with a smart save from the spot after diving low to his left.
