Tottenham Hotspur led their FA Cup fourth-round match against Southampton for nearly half an hour yesterday thanks to a Heung-min Son strike after 58 minutes.
However, Saints substitute Sofiane Boufal managed to hit back in the dying moments to force a replay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The South Korean had a goal chalked off for offside in the first half when Giovani Lo Celso’s shot was touched by Son on the way to goal and found the back of the net.
Son had other chances to find the back of the net but spurned more than one opportunity.
He had this to say on the match and the replay:
? Sonny: “It’s a replay, but it’s another home game and we can improve our level and show our fans we can get the victory.” #THFC ⚪️ #COYS pic.twitter.com/P57ew7HtPG
