Tottenham Hotspur took on Manchester City at the new stadium in North London on Sunday, with Steven Bergwijn opening the scoring with his first goal for the club and Heung-min Son netting a second to put the result out of reach.
The South Korean has a history of ruining Pep Guardiola’s day after he scored three goals across the two sensational Champions League quarter-final legs last season.
Son had a relatively quiet game against the current Premier League champions, but he took his chance when it came in the second half to make it 2-0 after being played through on goal courtesy of a beautiful pass from substitute Tanguy Ndombele.
The result has moved Spurs up to fifth in the table and closed the gap on fourth-place Chelsea to just four points.
He reacted to the result and the goal at full-time:
"Clean sheet. Two goals. An amazing afternoon."
