Son Heung-min has registered his second assist in as many matches for South Korea when he helped his side edge past Asian champions Qatar 2-1 yesterday afternoon.
There were doubts as to whether the friendly will go ahead after a spate of COVID-19 positive tests in the South Korean squad over the last few days.
However, the game did go ahead as planned after the latest test on Tuesday did not show any additional positive cases within the camp, with Son once again captaining his country.
Hwang Hee-chan gave South Korean the lead within the first minute but Qatar responded quickly, scoring their equaliser with less than ten minutes gone on the clock.
Son then beat the offside trap to get the byline and drilled a low ball across the face of goal for Hwang Eui-jo to tap-in from close range in what turned out to be the winning goal.
