Video: Heung-min Son scored last-gasp winner for South Korea

Heung-min Son’s fine form in front of goal has continued into the international break after his two assists for Tottenham against Aston Villa at the weekend.

Son started South Korea’s World Cup Qualifier against Syria this afternoon, scoring an 89th-minute winner to send his country top of the Group A table.

The ball was swung into the box from a set-piece and nodded down powerfully by a South Korean head, only for Son to sweep it home into the bottom corner first time.

Spurs Web Opinion:

One part of Son’s game that has always been lacking is consistency. However, in the past year or so, it seems as though he has been putting in good performances week after week, at least becoming Tottenham’s most consistent attacker. Long may it continue.
