Heung-min Son has kicked off Jurgen Klinsmann’s managerial reign of the South Korean national side by scoring the first goal after just ten minutes against Colombia.
The striker has experienced a difficult season for Tottenham Hotspur having scored just 10 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions at club level, having looked a shadow o him former self under Antonio Conte during the current campaign.
The 30-year-old received the ball from 30 yards out after Vargas in the Colombia goal was caught way out of position near to the touchline and Son took advantage by curling the ball into the empty net
He grabbed his second goal of the match on the cusp of half-time when he stepped up to take a free-kick and found the bottom corner.

Son’s Tottenham team-mate Davinson Sanchez was named as a substitute for the friendly fixture at the 37,897-capacity Ulsan Munsu Stadium.
