Video: Heung-min Son sends emotional message to recently retired Spurs star

Son Heung-min has congratulated Michel Vorm on his career and thanked him for the time they shared together at Spurs after the goalkeeper announced his retirement from professional football earlier this week.

Vorm was a great servant for Tottenham and was Hugo Lloris’ main understudy during the majority of his six years in North London.

While the Dutchman only managed 48 appearances for the Lilywhites, he was a highly respected figure in the dressing room.

The shot-stopper has been without a club since seeing his contract with Spurs run out in July and he took to Instagram earlier this week to call time on his professional career.

Some Spurs fans admitted on social media that they would love to see the 37-year-old return to the club one day as a goalkeeping coach.

Son has now sent an emotional message to his former Tottenham teammate asking him to enjoy his retirement and stay in touch.
