Video: Heung-min Son wants to repay supporters following a difficult season

Heung-min Son was Tottenham Hotspur’s match winner against Southampton to give Ryan Mason the perfect start to life as interim head coach.

Son’s 88th minute penalty meant that the North Londoners have come from behind at half-time to win as many Premier League games under Mason as they did in fourteen instances under former boss José Mourinho (W1 D2 L11).

The South Korean revealed after the win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium that it was important to get the three points ahead of Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

Ahead of the Wembley showpiece, Son admitted that he is desperate to win the trophy to repay the supporters for a difficult campaign.
