Video: Hilarious incident as Spurs ball boy winks at camera after gamesmanship

Tottenham came from behind to beat Watford 2-1 courtesy of two late goals from the returning Son Heung-Min and Fernando Llorente.

The result took Spurs to within 2 points off Manchester City who lost to Newcastle, and seven behind Liverpool who drew at home to Leicester.

For most of the match, however, it looked like it was going to be yet another frustrating night at the office for the Lillywhites as Watford took the lead through a scrappy goal and defended resolutely from that point on.

Much to Spurs players’ and fans’ frustration, Watford did not miss any opportunity to waste time and slow down Spurs’ momentum. However, the home side did have the final laugh as they turned the game around in dramatic fashion.

After Spurs went ahead in the game, it was the away side’s turn to chase the game while Spurs slowed things down and took their own time. Towards the end of the game, there was a hilarious incident involving a Spurs ball boy who pretended not to notice Watford striker Isaac Success asking for the ball to take a quick throw.

Success eventually pushed the ball off the boy ball’s hands and ended up getting booked for his actions. The ball boy in question then turned and winked to the camera to indicate that he knew what he was doing.
