Tottenham Hotspur started the new Premier League season in the best possible way with a victory against Premier League champions Manchester City in North London.

Heung-min Son scored the only goal of the game in the second half of the fixture from a counter attack which was started by a nice flick from Lucas Moura into the path of Steven Bergwijn, who drove forward and released Son down the right, with the South Korean burying the ball into the botttom corner.

After the final whistle, Tottenham’s new managing director of football, Fabio Paratici was seen celebrating along with Steve Hitchen.

The pair were also animated during the match, as they looked to shout their instructions from their pitchside position.
