Video: Hojbjerg continues impressive form for Denmark with goal

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg continued his impressive form for Denmark having found the back of the net against Austria.

The 26-year-old was named in Kasper Hjulmand’s starting eleven for the UEFA Nations League fixture at the Ernst Happel Stadion and opened the scoring in the 27th minute.

Hojbjerg made a forward run into the Austria penalty area and did well to adjust his feet in time to fire his shot at goal when the ball fell to him following a deflected cross.

The Spurs man was also impressive on Friday night when he set up Andreas Cornelius for Denmark’s equaliser when he played a deft pass into the box which saw Hugo Lloris unable to keep it out, Hojbjerg’s side went on to win the match 2-1.
