Jose Mourinho made a number of changes to his Tottenham Hotspur side which faced Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening.
The Portuguese decided to inject youth into his starting eleven against the German giants after making the call to leave the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli back in London with one eye on Sunday’s game against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
One of the more experienced players to take to the field at the Allianz Arena was Moussa Sissoko.
After Ryan Sessegnon levelled the score with his first goal for the club, Spurs have a brilliant opportunity to take the lead; something which ended up costing them dearly following a 3-1 loss.
Sissoko picked up the ball on the right hand side of the pitch and drove forward and when it seemed easier for him to find one of Sessegnon, Lo Celso or Lucas Moura in the penalty area he fluffed the final ball.
A video has emerged showing the reaction of the Spurs substitutes following Sissoko’s error, with Heung-min Son, in particular, showing his frustration with the Frenchman.
Check the reaction from Sonny when Sissoko messed up in the final third to put Spurs 2-1 up in Munich…
