Video: Hugo Lloris admits that Spurs squad lost a bit of togetherness this season

Hugo Lloris has admitted that the Tottenham dressing room has once again become a tight-knit unit after losing a bit of their ‘togetherness’ earlier this season.

Even if Tottenham manage to finish the season in 6th place and qualify for the Europa League, there is no doubt that the campaign will be considered an extremely disappointing one for the club.

However, Mourinho’s men have certainly shown plenty of signs of improvement since the restart.

Following the 3-0 win over Leicester City in the club’s final home game of the season, Lloris, who made a couple of important saves during the match, insisted that Spurs made easy work of their opponents by being clinical up front.

The Tottenham captain also revealed that the team are hopeful that they can end the season strongly and carry on their form into the next campaign.

It was always going to take time for Jose and his coaching staff to get their ideas across and shape the team the way they wanted. I am confident that we will be one of the hardest defences to break down in the league next season.
