Hugo Lloris has admitted that he is glad to be back between the sticks after returning to action for Tottenham Hotspur.
The club captain was somewhat surprisingly named in goal for tonight’s match against Norwich City after being on the sidelines since October.
Mourinho recently had ruled out the Frenchman’s return until February but has come back into the side at the expense of Paulo Gazzaniga sooner than expected (Goal).
Lloris was pleased to pick up the three points against the Canaries especially with clubs around them in the table dropping points in their respective matches.
The 33-year-old admitted that it has been a strange situation for him to be out of action for such a lengthy period and used the opportunity for self reflection.
"It hasn't been easy. It was a long way, but I'm very glad to be back with the three points."
