Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright could not hide his frustration at Brighton’s Beram Kayal in the lead up to Tottenham Hotspur’s winning goal.
Wright was critical of Kayal’s decision to try and score from distance in a rare venture into the Tottenham half late into the match which handed possession back to the home side.
Spurs went back up the pitch and finally made the all important breakthrough courtesy of a powerful Christian Eriksen strike from just outside of the box.
Brighton put in a spirited defensive display leaving Wright to suggest that the central defensive partnership of Dunk and Duffy should get hold of their team mate in the dressing room.
“If I’m Dunk and Duffy, when he gets in that dressing room, he’s going to know about it… What he's done is cost his team…"@IanWright0 cannot hide his frustration with the costly mistake made by Beram Kayal in the lead up to Tottenham’s winner.?? pic.twitter.com/qG56PDOIHH
