Malachi Fagan-Walcott has taken to Twitter to post a video compilation of himself in action along with a caption promising he will return from injury.
The 18-year-old central defender made his senior Tottenham Hotspur debut last season when he came on as a late replacement during the 2-0 defeat in the round of 16 second leg at RB Leipzig.
Fagan-Walcott shared a photo last month on Instagram of himself recovering in a hospital bed after undergoing an undisclosed surgery.
Jose Mourinho decided to hand a number of young players a run out in the 3-0 win against Ipswich Town on Saturday including Alfie Devine, Jack Clarke and Dennis Cirkin.
With Jan Vertonghen having left the club following the end of his contract, Fagan-Walcott will be looking to get back to fitness and put himself back in the plans of Jose Mourinho.
Fellow academy graduate Japhet Tanganga has already proven to other youngsters at the club that Mourinho is prepared to give youngsters the opportunity to break into the first team.
