Emerson Royal has revealed that he is loving every single moment at Tottenham, whether it is during matches or on the training ground.
Spurs have strengthened at right wing-back with the addition of Djed Spence from Middlesbrough this summer.
Football.London reported earlier in the summer that the 21-year-old was expected to compete with Matt Doherty for a place in Tottenham’s starting eleven this season, and that Spurs were likely to offload Emerson before the transfer window closes.
However, the Brazilian has started all of Tottenham’s first three Premier League games of the season so far and does not appear to be close to an exit.
The former Real Betis man has now spoken to SpursPlay about his ‘happy-go-lucky’ nature and how he enjoys every single moment of being a footballer. Watch what Emerson said below:

The fact that Spurs have put out this video at this time could be seen as confirmation that the club do not plan on cashing in on Emerson before the transfer window closes.
I suspect the 23-year-old might have been sold if Doherty had returned to pre-season fully fit but I cannot say that I am disappointed that he is staying as he seems to be loved in the dressing room and has upped his game over recent months.
