Tottenham Hotspur left-back, Ben Davies, is approaching on his 50th cap for his international side, Wales.

Davies has been a consistent performer for club and country for a number of years now, despite having a difficult game against Olympiacos in the Champions League recently for the Lilywhites.

Wales manager, Ryan Giggs, has now claimed that Davies is a coach’s dream due to the consistency in his game and the 8/10 performances he gives his teammates week in week out.

SpursWeb Opinion:

Spurs could use some of that defensive consistency at the moment. Danny Rose has gone off the boil over the last few weeks and Spurs really need Davies pushing him all the way. Not enough squad players are putting pressure on the underperforming first team.
