Video: ‘It is a huge task for Daniel Levy’ – Ex-Spur believes chairman has tough job ahead

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Michael Brown has admitted he has been left shocked by the timing of the rumour that Harry Kane has reiterated his desire to leave the club.

Sky Sports reported yesterday evening that the striker has once again told the Spurs hierarchy that he wants his future sorted before England’s European Championship campaign which begins next month.

Brown believes that chairman Daniel Levy now has a huge job on his hands with the appointment of a new manager, recruitment of new players while the presence of Kane at the club is something which could have attracted fresh talent.

With Kane turning 28 in July, the former midfielder believes that Kane wants to be winning trophies and playing in the Champions League year in, year out with Tottenham having massively unperformed this season.
