Tottenham Hotspur have now officially announced the signing of Ivan Perisic and he didn’t mess around in his first interview with the club.
After speaking about his delight to play in the Premier League and reunite with Antonio Conte, Perisic revealed he had been watching Tottenham’s final few games of the season to see whether they would get into the Champions League.
The Croatian star claimed it was ‘obvious’ Spurs would pip Arsenal to fourth after the Lilywhites beat the Gunners in the North London Derby.

It sounds like Spurs got in contact with Perisic a good number of weeks ago if he had his eye on the final few games of the season. This is a fantastic signing to get in for free with literally no downsides. He will transform that left-wing-back position.
