Jack Clarke was in impressive form for Leeds United’s Under 23 side last night when they faced their Bolton Wanderers counterparts Lancashire FA County Ground.
The 19-year-old became Tottenham’s first signing in 517 days when he joined the Champions League finalists in a deal worth around £10million and was immediately loaned back to Leeds for the 2019/20 campaign (BBC).
Clarke has struggled for action since returning to Elland Road and has only made three appearances for Marcelo Bielsa’s first team during the current campaign (transfermarkt).
The winger played a key role in Leeds’ 5-1 victory against Bolton, having scored one goal and provided three assists.
Clarke’s goal came on 29 minutes when he showed composure inside the Bolton penalty area with a good first touch and finished with his left foot.

Opinion
It is frustrating to see a talent having to play in an Under 23 side when Spurs have invested heavily in his services.
The club desperately need to look at cancelling his loan deal in January and sending him back out to another Championship side where he can play first team football, for the benefit of himself and Tottenham.
