Jamie O’Hara believes that Tottenham Hotspur should look to sell Harry Kane at the first possible opportunity if the striker wants to leave North London.
Kane revealed in an Instagram interview with Jamie Redknapp on Sunday that will not simply stay at Tottenham “for the sake of it” and would consider his future if the north London club stopped progressing (Sky Sports).
Former midfielder O’Hara has claimed that it would be in the best interests of the club if Daniel Levy parted company with the prolific marksman while he is at his peak, rather than further down the line to maximise his market value.
Kane has not played since rupturing a hamstring tendon on New Year’s Day at Southampton and is under contract at the Champions League finalists until 2024 (ESPN).
“Is Harry Kane’s ambition to win the League Cup?” ?
“If the trophies aren’t going to be there for the next three seasons…” ❌
“If you sell Kane then you have to do it at his peak, which is now.” ? @MrJamieOHara1 says if Kane wants to leave #THFC, the club must sell ASAP! pic.twitter.com/48X9DVUIFW
