Video: Jamie O’Hara claims that Spurs pair were found out against Brighton

Jamie O’Hara has given his view on the recent problems which Tottenham Hotspur have encountered.

The former Spurs midfielder believes that despite the club breaking their transfer fee record with the arrival of Tanguy Ndombele, they are playing him out of position as a defensive midfielder rather than further up the field.

O’Hara also highlighted the fact that Spurs have been unable to freshen up their squad as much as they may have liked due to Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso both sidelined through injury.

Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld were both singled out for their display against Brighton, where the 33-year-old felt that the pace of the opposition scared the Spurs players.

Here’s what O’Hara had to say on talkSPORT

Opinion

O’Hara has been slightly harsh on Alderweireld and Vertonghen in his assessment, the pair have been a rock at the heart of the Spurs defence in recent years.

I also disagree with his claim that Ndombele is an attacking midfielder, the Frenchman operates better as a box-to-box player.
