Video: Jamie Redknapp admits he would not be surprised to see Harry Kane leave Spurs

Jamie Redknapp has admitted that he would not be surprised if Harry Kane wanted to leave Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season if the club is not going in the right direction.

Tottenham find themselves in fourth place in the Premier League table with a game in hand over leaders Liverpool who are four points better off.

Earlier this week, Mourinho also guided the North Londoners to their first domestic cup final since 2015.

Redknapp referenced an interview he held with the Spurs marksman on Instagram in March of last year where he expressed his desire to win trophies (Evening Standard).

The former Spurs midfielder acknowledged that Kane would ideally like to remain at the club due to his family’s close ties, but insisted that should not be the driving force to stay put.

Kane has started the season in remarkable form having scored 17 goals in 25 appearances in Spurs colours while also delivering 14 assists (transfermarkt).
