Jamie Redknapp has accused former Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho of wanting to fall out with a lot of the players who he manages.

Redknapp was asked about the performance of Dele Alli following Spurs’ 2-0 win against Wolves in which the midfielder made a third start in four Premier League matches under interim head coach Ryan Mason.

Dele was one of the brightest players on the pitch having looked lively in the attacking third and came close to a goal when his effort cannoned back off the post.

With the England international out of favour under Mourinho, Redknapp claimed that the 25-year-old is a quality player and also highlighted the regularity that Gareth Bale has featured in recent weeks, claiming that the Portuguese has to stop falling out with his players.

Redknapp claimed that the reason for Mourinho’s disagreements with certain players is because he would prefer to look at everyone else rather than himself.

  1. Jamie is becoming a bit of a dik recently. He seems to have an agenda against Jose for some reason. Not really sure why but they must have had a falling out to speak like that on air. How about the fact hes improved ndombele that Poch couldnt get in the squad. A couple of months ago Jamie was saying how outstanding and world class Ndombele had come. Well some credit has to go to Jose for calling him out investing time and effort to get the best out of him. Ndombele cant get in the side now and looks poor when does. A world class outstanding player has become poor after Jose is sacked. Pierre who joined spurs under Jose was playing amazing but since his departure has been poor. No ention of how Son and Kane have played better and scored more and assisted more in a system that Jose used to help them develop their game. Im sick and tired of all this anti Jose hatred and bad agenda. Jose doesnt fall out with players hes uses Psychology to push their buttons to acheive better Performances which on the whole actually works. It may seem nasty to you and your snowflakes but it works and majority are strongly driven ambitions dont throw their toys out their plan they roll up their sleeves and work hard. Delle on the whole apart from a couple of games against poor opposition has been poor. He played well today because wolves looked half asleep and didnt play with any intensity like they normally do probably as they arent playing for anything and nuno put out a new team. As soon as we come up against better teams with more intensity even leeds these so called players go missing. Its a fact that prior to Jose Poch started substituting Delle as he was playing poorly and not putting the work in. England dropped Delle too for the same reason. So why isnt Jamie calling out Southgate and poch for not playing Delle regularly before the end. Jamie clearly has an agenda with Jose like lots of opponents. Maybe jamie you should also have a look at yourself

    • totally agree. Until Redknapp becomes a manager and has to deal with these infant players he should keep his mouth shut. Jose has always had a good relationship with players that are mature but seems to have trouble with prima donas like Bale Delle and Pogba.
