Jamie Redknapp has accused former Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho of wanting to fall out with a lot of the players who he manages.
Redknapp was asked about the performance of Dele Alli following Spurs’ 2-0 win against Wolves in which the midfielder made a third start in four Premier League matches under interim head coach Ryan Mason.
Dele was one of the brightest players on the pitch having looked lively in the attacking third and came close to a goal when his effort cannoned back off the post.
With the England international out of favour under Mourinho, Redknapp claimed that the 25-year-old is a quality player and also highlighted the regularity that Gareth Bale has featured in recent weeks, claiming that the Portuguese has to stop falling out with his players.
Redknapp claimed that the reason for Mourinho’s disagreements with certain players is because he would prefer to look at everyone else rather than himself.
🗣 "He [Jose] likes to look at everyone else rather than himself."
