Former Spurs midfielder Jermaine Jenas believes Tottenham have made the perfect appointment in Jose Mourinho, as the Portuguese manager is the right man to bring about the mental shift needed to help them win trophies.
Jenas credited Pochettino with also helping change the mentality of the club and making Spurs a Champions League team but he added that Mourinho is the man to help the team make the final step and win some silverware.
However, he also insisted that the 56-year-old will need time to implement all of his ideas at the club. Here’s what Jenas said to BBC 5 Live Sport:
'They've brought in the main man to do that' ?

Spurs Web Opinion
The appointment of Mourinho will certainly give the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, and Son Heung-min belief in the club’s ambitions and so we have a much better chance of retaining these players. I believe the Portuguese manager could have us back competing for the League title next season.
