Video: Jenas unimpressed with Mourinho’s treatment of player and urges him to leave

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jermaine Jenas has claimed that he is not happy with the way Dele Alli is being treated by the club.

Jenas referred to how Jose Mourinho put his arm around the England international when he took over from Mauricio Pochettino in November which saw the 24-year-old score five goals in eight appearances.

The pundit is lost as to why Mourinho has gone from trying to nurture the former MK Dons player to alienating him while also drawing comparisons with how he treated the likes of Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw during his time in charge at Manchester United.

Instead, Jenas claimed that if he was in Dele’s shoes, he would be looking to leave the North Londoners at the first opportunity.

Dele has recently been linked with a loan move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain, however, the deal looks unlikely due to both clubs being unable to agree to the financial terms (Telegraph).
