Video: Jim White’s sources say Harry Kane may feature for Spurs tonight

Tottenham Hotspur fans will be excited by the news out of talkSPORT and Jim White this morning, as the iconic deadline day presenter claims sources say Harry Kane may feature tonight against Ajax.

Spurs take on the Dutch giants in Amsterdam in the second leg of their semi-final, hoping to replicate Liverpool’s comeback at Anfield last night.

Tottenham are currently 1-0 and an away goal down in the two-legged tie, but know a big performance away from home could see them qualify for their first ever Champions League final.

Who better to call upon for goals than Harry Kane? Unfortunately, the Spurs and England frontman has been out with an ankle injury every since he damaged ligaments in the quarter-final home leg against Man City.

However, if talkSPORT sources are to be believed, Kane could feature on the bench, or even in the starting line up this evening.

Spurs Web Opinion:

This seems unlikely, but if Kane is indeed fit enough to even feature for 20 minutes or so, Spurs should use him. Kane not only brings a goal threat every time he steps onto a pitch, but he also instils fear into the opposition and boosts his teammates around him. The England man has a big summer ahead of him with the Nations League, but for me, it would be worth the risk as long as he thinks he is ready.
