Video: Joe Hart reveals the position he played in final Spurs session – Not keeper

Joe Hart has revealed that he played as a centre-forward in his final training session with Tottenham Hotspur before making the move to Celtic earlier this week.

Hart only signed for Spurs last summer and served as Hugo Lloris’ understudy for the 2020/21 season, making just ten appearances in all competitions.

Unfortunately, that did not include a single Premier League minute for the 34-year-old former England number one.

With Carlos Vinicius heading back to Benfica after his loan period ended and Harry Kane having not returned to training between Monday and Friday, it appears that Joe Hart played up top in his final Spurs session.

When the Celtic interviewer joked about Hart playing wherever the manager wants him to play, the keeper replied: “That’s how I do it. In fact, my last training session at Spurs, I played centre forward so, you know, if they need me I’m ready to put a pair of boots on and go for it.”
