Jose Mourinho has once again played down any prospect of Dele Alli leaving Tottenham Hotspur before the transfer deadline closes.
The Daily Mail claimed earlier this week that the Portuguese was prepared to allow Dele to join PSG on loan for the remainder of the season but the switch needed to be rubber stamped by chairman Daniel Levy.
The midfielder was once again absent from the squad with the official site claiming before the match against Brighton that he was sidelined through injury.
The Spurs head coach was quizzed about the future of the England international following the disappointing 1-0 loss to the Seagulls and suggested that he never had any indication that a move away from North London was a possibility.
🗣 "I never had an update to give you."
