Jose Mourinho was full of praise for his Tottenham youngsters and the academy in general after Spurs beat Wolfsberger 4-0 last night in North London.
Dane Scarlett was back in action off the bench and even came up with an assist for Carlos Vinicius’ second goal of the night. Elsewhere, Marcel Lavinier and Nile John were handed first-team debuts and Dilan Markanday was an unused substitute.
Mourinho claimed that the minutes on the pitch would serve as motivation for the entire academy and seemed lost for words at the talent of Dane Scarlett.
