Despite putting in what was arguably their best defensive performance in the past month, Spurs fell to a 1-0 defeat at home to Liverpool today.
The Reds took the lead just before half-time through Roberto Firmino, taking a lead into the break that they thoroughly deserved.
However, Spurs came out and played in the second 45, with the final half an hour being particularly impressive from Jose Mourinho’s men.
Despite falling even further behind Chelsea in the race for the top four, Mourinho insisted that his boys gave everything today.
