Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy decided to part company with Jose Mourinho and his backroom staff last month after a seventeen-month spell in charge of the North London club.
Mourinho, who had won major honours at every other club he had managed and replaced Mauricio Pochettino with the Argentine having come up short in his attempt to end Spurs’ long wait for a competitive piece of silverware.
Guiding Spurs to the Carabao Cup final proved not to be enough for Mourinho to save his job and was dismissed days before the Wembley showpiece with the club having lost touch in the race for the top four and eliminated from the Europa League.
The Portuguese, who was appointed as the new head coach of AS Roma just fifteen days after his exit from Spurs has taken to Instagram to share a video to show that he is already preparing for his next challenge.
Mourinho, who will not officially take over from the departing Paulo Fonseca until the end of the season was seen watching video analysis footage of 18-year-old left-back Riccardo Calafiori, who has made eight appearances in all competitions this season (transfermarkt).
Tottenham’s managerial search continues with Levy yet to appoint a successor for the 58-year-old.
