Tottenham Hotspur have finished in the top four in the Premier League over the last four consecutive seasons, qualifying for regular Champions League football in the process.
Chelsea are also in the Champions League this season and look to have one of the brightest young teams in the league as a result of their recent transfer ban, as well as an up-and-coming manager in Frank Lampard.
However, Arsenal, on the other hand, are stuck down in the Europa League and have been for some time, with The Sun’s deputy head of sport, Martin Lipton, claiming that the Gunners will struggle to attract top new players ahead of rivals Spurs and Chelsea.
“The thing Arsenal have going for them is London but #CFC & #THFC are easier sells.” ?
“In 2010 Arsenal were the 3rd team in the country.” ?
“Now they’re not in the top 4 of teams you’d want to play for.” ?@MartinLipton says #Arsenal will struggle to buy top players. pic.twitter.com/l11aJemkyO
